Internet
The Internet has done many things to improve our world, but to me it has its biggest affect on our Education system. Sometime I like to just think about what school was like for my parents, or even their parents. Everthing they learned was out of a book, there was no way to share new material, keep up to date, watch movies, look at pictures, and so on. It would be a style of learning that I do not think I would be able to keep up with. Flash forward 30 years, and we now have the Internet, and it is constantly used in the classroom. First of all basically any book you find on the shelves, you can find and read on the internet, if not then you can buy it on line and it will be at your house is days. If a teacher is struggling to make a point or come up with an example, they can simple go online and pull up a video of exactly what they are talking about. There is new material all over the Internet, being updated constantly. Everything is up to date, I wont say always accurate but on whatever you are looking up their will always be many sources. If a student has a question, they can email their teacher, and maybe get an answer over the weekend, instead of having to wait. There are thousands of examples on how the Internet has changed our education system, and for me there are more positive than negative.
