With the Internet being available to basically everyone, news is much more current and fast. Anyone with a cell phone these days can check the news simply by clicking a few buttons. Not to many people wait for the 6 pm news anymore, why wait? All you have to do is go online and quickly get the news whenever and wherever you want. I happen to be a big sports fan. I no longer have to wait till I get home every night to watch sports center. I can check scores in seconds right on my phone or laptop. The Internet has one of the biggest impacts on our countries media.

The bills
This week the Patriots are up against the Buffalo Bills. It was thought to have been a cake walk, but it was everything but. The bills played nothing like their so called “easy win” repuatation. They played good defense for most of the game, and ran the ball effectively. Overall it was a fun game to watch and im glad the patriots came away with a victory.

The big bad Bruins
In my 21 years I have no been more devoted to 1 sports team than I have the Boston Bruins. But with that being said they have done nothing but dissipoint me. I love all the sports, so do not get me wrong, but I believe Boston is and should remain a Hockey town. Which is why I believe the Bruins ownership takes advantage of us fans, and does not put the skills on the ice in order to win in the playoffs. All I have ever wanted was a Bruins Championship. Hopefully someday…….
Jet Packed
Over the past few years the New York Jets have done nothing but improve their roster by signed big named free agent after the other, while it seems the Patriots have done nothing but the opposite. In fact, its becoming harder every year for the common fan to even be able to name most of the players on their roster. But not a person will ever count Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots out. They came roaring out of the gate last week putting up 31 points and only allowing a feild goal at half time against the Cincinatti Bengals. The Jets i feel will be no match for the Patriots today which i feel will be a 28-10 victory by the Patriots. Only time can tell if i'm wrong or right.

Internet
The Internet has done many things to improve our world, but to me it has its biggest affect on our Education system. Sometime I like to just think about what school was like for my parents, or even their parents. Everthing they learned was out of a book, there was no way to share new material, keep up to date, watch movies, look at pictures, and so on. It would be a style of learning that I do not think I would be able to keep up with. Flash forward 30 years, and we now have the Internet, and it is constantly used in the classroom. First of all basically any book you find on the shelves, you can find and read on the internet, if not then you can buy it on line and it will be at your house is days. If a teacher is struggling to make a point or come up with an example, they can simple go online and pull up a video of exactly what they are talking about. There is new material all over the Internet, being updated constantly. Everything is up to date, I wont say always accurate but on whatever you are looking up their will always be many sources. If a student has a question, they can email their teacher, and maybe get an answer over the weekend, instead of having to wait. There are thousands of examples on how the Internet has changed our education system, and for me there are more positive than negative.
